“BREAKING: Lauren Handy and 3 other defendants have been sentenced to 45 days in Flint jail for a Rescue in 2019. Thank you to everyone who came to the sentencing today. Solidarity with political prisoners everywhere and with the victims of the abortion genocide,” announced the Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU), of which Lauren Handy is the director of activism, on social media Friday.

“We are living in the midst of a genocide and it’s no surprise that the institutions which allow for the exploitation and murder of thousands of unborn children in this state are inflicting further oppression onto those like Lauren, who dare to challenge their agenda,” said Terrisa Bukovinac, founder and executive director of PAAU. Lauren Handy is the director of activism for PAAU. She and the three others were charged with misdemeanor trespassing, disturbing the peace and obstructing a police officer (a felony) for going “limp” during their arrest, according to the organization. Bukovinac said non-violent social justice activists often decide to “go limp” to refuse to assist in their own unjust arrest.

Women’s Center extermination camp, Flint, Michigan.

 

Attorney Robert Muise spoke eloquently explaining the truth about abortion and tried to help pathetic Judge Newblatt see that ending abortion is a civil right issue.

    Thank God for these Red Rose Rescuers and for those others around the country and the world… There still clearly is so much more to be done… Let us invoke the intercession The Baby Jesus, Our Blessed Mother and Saint Joseph as we prepare for Advent and the feast of Christmas… Asking also the intercession of Saint Faustina who suffered 3 times the pains of abortion, the last pains on Sept.16 1937 in order to make reparation for abortive mothers… Poland had become the abortion capitol of Europe during this time…
