Local Hudson Valley residents arrested for trespassing at Notre Dame

The well-known Joan Andrews Bell was arrested yesterday, along with Fr. Norman Weslin, the 80 year old founder of the Lambs of Christ, and of the Mary Weslin home for women,

Today Brigid Faranda was also arrested.

The charges are trespassing. They were held or will be held for a few hours and then released.

Symbolic actions, protesting Notre Dame's putting "Prestige over Truth", in the words of South Bend Bishop D'Arcy.

Here is a video of Fr. Weslin being arrested on Friday. We will post more information about the today in Notre Dame as it becomes available.

    In response to the scandal to our beloved Roman Catholic Church regarding the invitation of President Obama to Notre Dame and an award bestowed upon the most PRO-ABORTION PRESIDENT in the history of the United States of America , the people of Rockland came to pray at 3 pm at St. Paul’s Church in Congers with Fr. Brendan leading Eucharistic Adoration, Divine Mercy, Recitation of the Rosary, Benediction and the Crowning of Mary. 4 pm the Mary Help of Christian Shrine prayed the Rosary under the guidance of Fr. Bill and then the Divine Mercy Chaplet. What a sad day in the history of our Catholic Faith in America. Mary is weeping.
