“Silent no More” at the March for Life – a conversion?

This from the awesome Theresa Bonopartis – thanks Gerald for sending to us.

I went down to DC for the week. We did the prayer service (Sr Lucy SV did it with me) in St Mary’s Basilica in Alexandria VA. on the 22nd. The turn out was great!

I then participated in the activities of Silent No More.
The thing I wanted to share was, a few of us stood on the curb in front of the Supreme Court with our signs in the midst of a lot of pro aborts. A woman (with pink hair) was standing next to me screaming “My Body My Choice” etc etc on the top of her lungs.
Somehow we began talking. She asked me how I could be against abortion especially if a woman had been sexually abused or raped. Then she told me she had been abused and gotten pregnant. She went for an abortion but her parents intervened and she had her son. I asked how old he was etc. He is in college and her whole expression changed when she spoke about him. She obviously loved him very much and was so proud of him. I told her how he would be a sure target for abortion, and then told her about Rebecca Kessling being conceived in rape. Anyway, we debated/spoke for a while and it was obvious she had not thought of many of the things I told her, then all of a sudden she said “I don’t think I belong here. I think I need to go home”  We exchanged names and hugs, and then she left!
Praise be to God!
