The anti-abortion group is known to many city residents as the group that stages prayer protests in front of Planned Parenthood offices at 20 S. Broadway.<\/p>\n<p>Besides praising the firefighters, Advocates of Life&#8217;s leader Tony Felicissimo had words for the mother who at the time told firefighters that she already had six children and couldn&#8217;t handle another mouth to feed. The anonymous woman did not attend yesterday&#8217;s ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We also honor the brave mother who made a choice to do the right thing,&quot; Felicissimo said.<\/p>\n<p>Yonkers Mayor Phil Amicone also attended and called himself a supporter of the Safe Haven law.<\/p>\n<p>Amicone praised the efforts of Nassau County police medic Tim Jaccard, who did not attend.
