News<\/strong><\/font><\/a>&#0160;<\/p>\n<blockquote dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>In the run-up to a final vote, conservatives from the two political parties joined forces to impose tough new restrictions on abortion coverage in insurance policies to be sold to many individuals and small groups. They prevailed on a roll call of 240-194.<\/p>\n<p>Ironically, that only solidified support for the legislation, clearing the way for <span class=\"yshortcuts\" id=\"lw_1257655638_6\">conservative Democrats<\/span> to vote for it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>219 Democrats and one Republican voted for the Bill, 39 Democrats and 176 republicans voted against it. <\/p>\n<p>By no means is this the end of the story. The Senate now must take up a Bill. Then the two bills go to &quot;reconciliation&quot; to produce one bill that a majority from both chambers need to pass.
