The 15th annual commemoration, this year celebrating the 96th anniversary of women's voting rights. Held Friday, August 5th, as always in the Westchester County Board of Legislators' Conference Room in the County office building. It is a "reformed" celebration, because for 28 years pro-life women were banned.<\/p>\n

As has become traditional, prior to the actual ceremony Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino met with the Honoree, keynote speaker, and some of the attendees in the County Executive's Conference Room and office. Here the County Executive presents a Proclamation to Honoree Maria McFadden Maffucci, President of the Human Life Foundation and editor of its journal, the Human Life Review. Maria's husband Robert and daughter Grace smile their approval.<\/p>\n
